TA 65 Scam

TA 65 is a dietary supplement that is pure, natural, and plant-based compound that can help maintain or rebuild telomeres. A telomere is a repetitive DNA at the end of a chromosome which serves to protect the chromosomes (threadlike structure of nucleic acid and protein that holds genetic information in the form of genes) from destruction. In simple terms, these telomeres serve as caps at the end of each strand of DNA like plastic tips at the end of shoelaces that protect our chromosomes. Without these coatings, the shoelace can become weak and can no longer function well just the same as the DNA’s without telomeres. In science, these telomeres shorten when the cells divide that leads to an irreversible state of growth. They become weak, damaged and their function tends to diminish as we age.

The length of telomeres actually indicate a person’s overall health status, the shorter it is, the more it is linked to aging, destruction, and dysfunction. In order to be healthy, they need to maintain their length because short telomeres mean faster aging of cells; therefore a nutritional supplement called TA 65 has been developed to activate the enzyme telomerase. It serves to slow down, reverse and even stop the effects of aging or the shortening of telomeres. Other benefits of activating the telomere are healthier function of cells, making old cells function as they were younger, and it also addresses telomere shortening and cell aging.

The benefits for use of TA 65 are the following:

  • Eradication of free radicals
  • Improvement of skin appearance
  • Diminishes facial wrinkles and folds
  • Helps tone the skin and increase firmness
  • Provides anti-oxidant protection

It also claims to improve immune system, improve biomarkers, increase life longevity and improve overall well-being.

There are reports however, that TA 65 is actually a scam. As the product claims it is “clinically proven,” some scientists actually say they are unaware of any of its scientific evidence. And although it was tested in laboratories among mice and other animals, the dosage is larger as compared to those in capsules for humans which make it ineffective in terms of lengthening telomeres for age reversal, prolonged lifespan, or a better quality life among humans. According to reports, these lab animals have actually developed tumors, specifically liver cancer. Claims go on as to the product’s possibility of causing cancer. It does help with cell proliferation to reverse, slow down or stop aging but it also increases proliferation of cancer cells. There are also no actual reports of lifespan extension among studied animals.
